Linear company is searching for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to take the lead in designing and developing user-centered digital products and services. The ideal candidate should possess a robust understanding of the design process, from research and prototyping to product launch, coupled with exceptional design skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Spearhead the design of digital products and services, overseeing the entire design process, including research, prototyping, and launch.
• Implement a user-centered design approach, ensuring that user needs and goals are prioritized throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using industry-standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Adobe XD, and Illustrator.
• Conduct usability testing and other research activities to validate design concepts and provide recommendations for enhancement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to seamlessly integrate designs into the final product.
• Establish and maintain design systems and style guides, ensuring consistency across all digital products and services.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously enhance design practices and processes.
• Mentor junior designers, providing feedback on their work to foster their growth and skill development.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or masters degree in graphic design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong focus on digital products and services.
• Impressive portfolio showcasing experience in designing digital products and services, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Adobe XD, and Illustrator.
• Must be an expert in visual designing.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, encompassing research, usability testing, and accessibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, demonstrating the ability to identify and evaluate design solutions.
• Previous experience mentoring junior designers and providing constructive feedback on their work.
